Kids. I am here to educate them. Lately, though, they have been educating me. They have this amazing ability to have a simple faith. They trust their parents and many adults, including myself, to take care of them, provide for them, protect them, and love them. Such a simple faith, with huge results. We who love them know we will do everything we can to make sure they are happy, safe, and loved. Our love will never be perfect though, as our heavenly Father's is. He wants us to come to Him with faith like a child. A simple faith. One that says, I trust you will take care of me today, Lord. I trust that you will provide for all of my needs, even though I'm not sure how it will happen. I trust that you will give me strength when I'm weak and an extra bit of patience when I am out. I trust that you will never leave me or forsake me, even in my darkest hour.
"They say that I can move the mountains
And send them crashing into the sea
They say that I can walk on water
If I would follow and believe
with faith like a child"
And send them crashing into the sea
They say that I can walk on water
If I would follow and believe
with faith like a child"
God, I want to have that kind of faith today.
Here's some of the kids and people who inspire me. Aaron and I had the awesome opportunity to go to Everland, the Korean version of Disneyland, a few weeks ago with a family we met in America as they were living there. What a blessing they have been to us, as they have adopted us as part of their family, and recently sent us blankets and some dishes to help us.
Danwoo and Gyuri. I tutored them in America, and got to teach them about Jesus in church.
Danwoo loves Aaron!
Aaron sledding....what a cool amusement park ride to have in the winter!
One happy family!
Aaron bought the kids Dip N Dots:)
He's so cute, I'd love to take him home...but Aaron says we need to give him back:)
